Buzău
Buzău plant was started-up in 1976. In 2007, Bunge Limited purchased from Agricover the Buzau plant, at the heart of the sunflower seed production region of Southern Romania.
In Buzău plant, Bunge performs crushing, refining and bottling activities of sunflower seeds.
As constant improvement is one of the main drivers, the plant has numerous certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, FSCC 22000, KOSHER, EFISC, ISCC EU & ISCC PLUS.
Lehliu
Lehliu plant was started-up in 2007, as the largest greenfield project of the year. In 2012, the joint-venture between Bunge and Prio Foods was started and as of 2016, Bunge is the sole owner of Lehliu plant, which is strategically located on the logistics corridor for European interland and Constanta port.
In Lehliu plant, Bunge performs crushing of rapeseed, sunflower and soybean, on its 2 production lines and biodiesel production.

Traian
In its base in Traian, Bunge receives, precleans and dries rapeseed, sunflower, corn, wheat and soybean, either for crush in one of its plants, either for trade purposes.
Seeds can be stored in concrete vertical silos, flat storage or silo bags. Seed can enter/exit by truck and rail.
